Day1: Addis Ababa- welcome at Bole int’l airport and transfer to hotel. Balance of the day site seeing in the capital and visit mount Entoto with a commanding view over to the town, church of St Mary, Entoto museum with a collection of royal objects and the grass thatched roof palace of king Menilk the 2^nd of Ethiopia. Then back to the city for an extra visit of the National museum, Markato and so on. Over night hotel

Day2: Addis Ababa-Awash National park- drive to Awash National Park. On the way, visit Debrezeit crater lakes then after lunch, continue to Awash NP then in the Afternoon. Game drive in the park including the Awash River falls. Over night lodge.

Day3: Awash Park-logia/Semera- In the Morning, more time in Awash with a drive to the norther part of the Park to visit the hot spring areas, then drive to Logia, lunch picnic on the way. Over night camping.

Day4: Logia-Afdera- after breakfast drive to Afdera through an arid Afar region where the nomadic Afar people are living. Lunch on the way, then late in the after noon, walk around lake Afdera and see salt production areas by the side of the lake. Over night camping.

Day5: Afdera-Erta ale- after breakfast in the camp, pick police men and road leader and proceed to the small village of Dodom to pick up scouts who accompany us to the active volcanic mountain of Erta ale. Lunch in Dodom, in the afternoon drive to the foot of the mountain then after a while rest for tea and snacks walk from 3-4 hours to reach on the crater caldera where you see and enjoy the active volcanoes. Over night photographing and short sleeping in shabby houses.

Day6: Erta ale-Amedela- early morning, before the sunrises start walking dawn to the camp, take quick breakfast then head to Amedela through a scattered village of the Afar people. Lunch on the way, late in the afternoon, arrive in Amedela and walk around the village to watch Camel caravan who carry back salt bars from the near bay lake Asale. Over night camping.

Day7: Amedela-Mekele-Enjoy an early morning breakfast and drive to lake Asale to see salt extraction; Dallol, (the 3^rd lowest point on the earth’s surface with its Sulphric lake) and more. Back to the campsite for lunch then proceed to Mekele. Over night hotel.

Day8: Mekele-Kombolcha- early breakfast then drive to Kombolcha via the beautiful scenery of Maichew, Alamata, and Ambalel Mountain ranges then stop at the ancient monastry of Hayek Istifanos. Over night hotel.

Day9: – Kombolcha-Addis Ababa– do your checkout and start driving to Addis Ababa on the way visit Market days at Senbete and Shewa Robit if Sunday and Saturday respectively. On arrival in Addis Ababa do more sightseeing activities including shopping then after farewell dinner in one of the traditional restaurants, drop off at the airport for your flight homeward. End of the tour.

Note: – You can fly from Mekele to Addis Ababa or the circuit can be continued to the historic route, Gerealta and Lalibeella rock hewn churches, Simen Mountains NP.
