Day1: Addis Ababa- Arrive in Addis Ababa and transfer to hotel. Afternoon do sightsee in the capital and visit mount Entoto with a commanding view over the town, church of St Mary, Entot museum with a collection of royal objects and the grass thatched roof palace of king Menilk the 2^nd of Ethiopia. Then back to the city for an extra visit of the National museum, Markato and so on.

Day2: Bahir Dar- early morning transfer to airport and fly to Bahirdar. After check-in to hotel, go for boat trip over lake Tana to see churches and monasteries on the islands of the lake. In the afternoon, wonder around the town and drive to Bezawit hill to enjoy sunset over lake Tana. Over night hotel.

Day3: Bahirda – Gondar –Morning drive to Blue Nile falls, August to November is best time to visit the waterfall as it would have much water plunging down the 40 meters height to the bottom.  Return and have Lunch in Bahirdar. Then in the afternoon, proceed to Gondar with a stop at Guzar palace.uam church. O/n hotel.

Day4: Gondar- visit the castle compound, Debre Birhan Sellasie church with its religious mural paintings, the bath of King Fasiledious, the old Kuskuam monastery with the second palace of Empress Mentewab. Over night hotel.

Day5: Gondar-Axum- Drive to Axum through the former Village of Ethiopian Jewish or locally know as Fellasha people, Kosoye, Limalimo view points and the spectacular landscape of the chain of Simen mountains National park. Lunch is on the way in the Tekeze river valley. Over night hotel.

Day6: Axum- the whole day in Axum with a visit of the stele park, different archeological sites, the bath and the palace of Queen of Sheba, under ground tombs, the church of St. Mary of Zion where the original Ark of Covenant believe to have rested. Over night hotel.

Day7: Fly Aksum- Lalibela- (the 8^th wonders of the world). In the after noon, visit the first group of rock-hewn churches, this includes, Bete Medihanialem (the house of the saver of the world), Bete Mariam (the house of St. Mary), Bete Meskel (the house of the cross), Bete Denagil (the house of the Virgin martyrs), Bete Golegotha-Micheal (the house of Golegotha and St. Michael and Bete Giorgis (the house of St. George). Over night hotel.

Day8: Lalibela- full day in Lalibella and visit one of the churches outside the town such as Mule trekking to the monastery of Asheten Mariam or driving to the cave churches of Naktule’ab or Yimrehane kirstos. Afternoon, more exploring the remaining churches in Lalibella town. Over night hotel.

Day9: Lalibela- Addis Ababa- flies back to Addis Ababa then balance of the day, shopping and sightseeing in the city then in the evening farewell dinner at traditional restaurant with live tribal dances. Finally, transfer to airport for your departure home.  End of the tour.
