Day1: Addis Ababa– arrives Addis Ababa, meet our staff member and transfer to hotel. Balance of the day site seeing in the capital and visit mount Entoto with a commanding view over to the town, church of St Mary, Entoto museum with a collection of royal objects and the grass thatched roof palace of king Menilk the 2^nd of Ethiopia. Then back to the city for an extra visit of the National museum, Markato and so on. Over night hotel.

Day2: Addis Ababa-Bahir Dar- takes early breakfast then shuttle out to airport for the flight to Bahirdar. After check in hotel drive to Blue Nile falls locally known as Tis-Abay meaning water that smokes. Afternoon, city tour of Bahirdar including local market, basketry shop and Bezait viewpoint where you could see lake Tana, Nile River and the city itself. Over night hotel.

Day3: Bahirdar-Gorgora- Boat cruise over lake Tana to Gorgora beachside resort. On the way, visit the Island monasteries of Ura kidane Mehret, Mahal Zegye Gyorgis & Narga Selassie both known for religious mural paintings. Lunch picnic on the lake. Over night hotel.

Day4: Gorgora-Gondar- after breakfast northeast to Gondar, a medieval city founded in the 1^st quarter of 17^th century and is home to a number of churches and royal palaces. In the afternoon, start city tour of Gondar and visit the compound of King Fasiledes that has more than 6 castles and ruins of buildings, the church of Debrebirhan Silassie, and the bath of King Fasiledous himself and the monastery of empress Mintiwab. Over night hotel.

Day5: Gondar- Simen Mountains- drives to the Simen Mountains NP via the Fellasha where Ethiopian Jewish community used to live. In the afternoon, trek in the Simen Mountains and see the endemic Gelada Baboons and wonderful scenery of Simen mountains. Over night hotel.

Day6: Simen Mountains- full day in the Simen mountain with more hiking and trekking up to Chenek camp site to see the endemic Waliya Ibex, rarest Ethiopian Wolf and other bird species of Lammergeyer. Over night hotel.

Day7: Simen mountain NP-Aksum– early breakfast then drive to Aksum via the beautify scenery of Limalimo mountain escarpments and Tekeze river valley.

Day8: Aksum– full day in Aksum and visit the stele park, the tomb of king kaleb and G/Meskel, the bath of queen of Sheba and her ruin palace, the church of St. Mary of Zion, where the original Ark of the Covenant in which Moses received on mount Sinai believed to have rested in a small chapel and Ezana’s stone inscription. Over night hotel.

Day9: Aksum-Geraltha– Today we drive to the small town of Hawzen where the Gerealtha rock churches are to be found. On the way, visit village of Yeha known by a pre-Christian moon temple, monastery of Debre Damo and churches in the Tesfa Culstur. Over night lodge.

Day10: Gerealtha- Visit churches in the surrounding such as, Mariam Korkor, Daniel Korkor, Abune Yemata, Mariam Papatsiti and more. Over night lodge.

Day11: Gerealtha-Amdhela– check out early morning and drive to Danakil depression through the town of Berhale and villages of the nomadic Afar people. Before that, visit the rock-hewn churches of Abreha Atsibeha and Wukro Cherkos. Late afternoon, enjoy Camel caravan and sunset at lake Asale.  Over night camping.

Day12: Amdhela-Dallol-Ertale- takes breakfast then drive to Danakil depression one of the lowest and hottest places on earth. Visit the colorful sulphuric-acid pools, active hot springs, salt bar quarry site, camel caravan and more. Back to campsite for lunch then more drive to Ertale. Afrer short rest and some snacks, start trekking to mount Ertale where you could see the active volcanic crator. Over night camping.

Day13: Ertale- Semera- Addis Ababa– Take breakfast and drive to Semera to catch the flight to Addis Ababa. On the way visit lake Afdera where the largest salt production in Ethiopia is located. After farewell dinner in one of traditional restaurants transfer to airport for departure home. End of the tour.
