Day1: Addis Ababa- Met by our staff member and transfer to hotel. Balance of the day site seeing in the capital and visit mount Entoto with a commanding view over to the town, church of St Mary, Entoto museum with a collection of royal objects and the grass thatched roof palace of king Menilk the 2nd of Ethiopia. Then back to the city for an extra visit of the National museum, Markato and so on. Over night hotel.
Day2: Addis Ababa-Bahirdar- fly to Bahirdar and do boating on lake Tana to the Peninsula and island monasteries of Urakidane Mehret, Mahal zeghie Gyorgis, Azua Mariam, Narga Sellasie, Kibran Gebriel and more. Afternoon drive to Blue Nile falls about 35ks south of Bahirdar. On return to Bahirdar do lakeside walking on lake Tana and more sightseeing of the town like visiting local basketry market. Over night hotel.
Day3: Bahirdar-Gondar- Drives to Gondar. In afternoon visit the royal compound where about 6 castles and other ruins of palaces are still standing, Debrebirhan Sillasie church and the bath of king Fasilledious.
Day4: Gondar-Simen mountain-Gondar- takes breakfast then drive to Simen Mountains NP for a day trip. Walk around in the park that has magnificent views and stunning landscape. Enjoy with the endemic Gelada baboon living on the cliffs and escarpments. After picnic lunch in the park, drive back to Gondar with stop over at the Fellasha village where Ethiopian Jewish used to live before they were airlifted to Israel in 1990 and on wards. Over night hotel.
Day5: Gondar- Axum- check out hotel and fly to Aksum, an old city where ancient Ethiopia’s civilization had been started. Visit the stele park, the bath and ruin palace of queen of Sheba, Ezana’s stone inscription, the church of St. Mary Zion and more. Over night hotel.
Day6: Aksum-Gerealtha- Drive to Gerealtha via Yeha moon temple, some of the Tigray rock-hewn churches: – like –Pettros and Paulos, Medihanialem Adi Koshu, And Al-Negash Mosque; the 1st mosque in Ethiopia.
Day7: Gerealtha- the whole day in Gerealtha exploring rock hewed churches of Danieal and Mariam Korkor, Mariam Papasite, Abune Yemata and more. Over night lodge.
Day8: Gerealtha-Mekele- after breakfast, more visit of Gerealtha churches then head to Mekele with spot over at Wukro Cherkos and Abreha -Atsibeha rock hewed sanctuaries. Over night hotel.
Day9: – Mekele-Lalibella– After breakfast, head to Lalibella through the wonderful landscape of Alamat and Korem mountain chains then to Lake Ashengie. Over night hotel.
Day10: Lalibela- Full day in Lalibela and visit the magnificent rock hewn churches in the town. These are Bete Medihanialem (the house of the saver of the world), Bete Mariam (the house of St. Mary), Bete Meskel (the house of the cross), Bete Denagil (the house of the Virgin martyrs), Bete Golegotha-Micheal (the house of Golegotha and St. Michael and Bete Giorgis (the house of St. George), Bete Gabriel-Raphael/the house of St. Gabriel and Raphael; Bete Emanuel/the house of Emanuel; Bete Merkorious/the house of Merkorew and Bete Libanos/the house of father Libanos. Over night hotel.
Day11: Lalibela-Diredawa-Harar- early checks out then flies to Addis Ababa connecting with the flight to Diredawa. On arrival more, drive to Harar with stops at some Cat/chat market places. Balance of the day; visit Hara city and its surroundings, like museums, market places, Harari private houses and more. Early evening goes out of the city to entertain with Hyena man show. Over night hotel.
Day12: Harar-Dire Dawa-Arbaminch- Drive to Dire Dawa then you fly back to Addis Ababa to connect with Arbaminch. As soon as arrival in Arbaminch direct drive to Chencha village to see the Dorze people and their beautiful homesteads. Over night hotel or lodge.
Day13: Arbaminch- Full Day in Arbaminch. Morning games drive in Nechisar NP. Afternoon, do…
Day14: Arbaminch-Jinka– early checks out then boat trip over lake Chamo to see Crocodiles, Hippos and other bird species. Proceed to Konso village for lunch and village tour then more drive to Jinka with stop at Key After Market if Thursday where the aforementioned tribes are meet and shopping their commodities. Over night lodge.
Day15: Jinka- Turmi- Drive to Turmi with stop at Dimeka village where the colorful Saturday market is going on. Here the Hamer, Karo and Dassanech people are come together for buy and selling their goods. Lunch picnic in Dimeka then proceed to Turmi to attend the Bull jumping ceremony if available. Over night hotel.
Day16: Turmi- Full day in Turmi, morning drive to Koricho village to see the Karo people know for body painting and scarification, the Omo river and so on. Back to hotel for lunch then in the afternoon, walk around the villages of the Hamer people, visit their houses and attend the Evangadi dances of young girls and boys. Over night lodge.
Day17: Turmi- full day in Turmi with excursion to Omorate to visit the Dassanech people, who are living on the other side of Omo River. Cross the river using wooden boat meet the Dassenech people in a small village. Then back to Turmi for lunch and colorful market day of the Hamer, Karo and Dassanech people in Turmi if Monday. Over night lodge.
Day18: Turmi-Konso- Proceed to Konso, on the way stops at the village of Erbore people on which women known for bead decoration. Lunch picnic in Woito village then more drive to Konso. Late in the after noon have some time in Konso village and visit their village with beautiful traditional houses and terrace works. Over night lodge.
Day19: Konso-Yabello- Drive to Yabello, land of Borena people. In the afternoon day trip to Chewbet visit the singing wells at Dublock, Elsod Crater Lake locally known as Chew bet where the Borena people extract salt in the marshy lake. Over night hotel.
Day20: Yabello – Langano- drive to Langano via the village of the Guji people then head to Awassa for lunch and more relax in the town and lake Awassa. Late in the after noon, proceed to Langano lakeside resort with wonderful sunset and acacia woodland vegetations. Over night lodge.
Day21: Langano-Addis Ababa- In the morning do some activities around the beach then head to Addis Ababa via Lake Ziway home to different species of water birds including white pelicans, Marabu-storks and so on. Lunch in Debrezeit town, late in the after noon; arrive in Addis Ababa, more sightseeing and shopping. After farewell dinner at traditional restaurant drop off airport for departure. Over night hotel.
